1. Who we are & accepting these terms
These Terms are a contract between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("The Chase," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use The Chase.
2. Eligibility & age
You must be at least [13 / 16 / 18 — confirm with counsel] years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use The Chase for a business (a shop), you confirm you're authorized to act for it.
3. Your account & your handle
You're responsible for your account, your @handle, and keeping your login secure. Your handle is your public identity in the hobby. Don't impersonate others or pick a handle you don't have the right to use. We may reclaim handles that are abusive, infringing, or impersonating.
4. What The Chase is — and what it isn't
The Chase provides card values, market signals, scarcity data, and tools to list, post, and trade. Values and signals are informational estimates built from real market data; they are not appraisals, guarantees, or financial, investment, or tax advice. Card markets move and our data can be incomplete or wrong. Every decision to buy, sell, trade, or price is yours. Our AI (the Coach) prepares actions and offers labeled opinions, but it does not act without your confirmation.
5. Acceptable use
Don't: break the law; infringe anyone's IP; post false, fraudulent, or misleading listings; harass or harm others; scrape, bulk-extract, or resell our data; probe or attack the service; or misrepresent a card's condition, authenticity, or grade. You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you list and sell.
6. Your content & your public page
You keep ownership of the content you add (card data, photos, listings, posts). You grant us a license to host and display it as needed to run the service — including on your public page for the cards and wantlist you choose to make public. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.
7. Buying, selling & trading between users
The Chase provides tools and information; it is not a party to transactions between users. Deals, payments, shipping, and disputes are between the people involved. We don't guarantee any card, any user, or any outcome.
8. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation
Free tiers are free. Paid tiers (currently Pro and the Franchise dealer plan) are billed through our payment processor. Prices are shown before you subscribe. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your data is preserved if you downgrade. Annual plans and any promotional terms (e.g. Founding Dealer) are described at checkout. [Add auto-renewal disclosures and any state-required cancellation language — counsel.]
9. Affiliate links & sponsored content
Some buy links are affiliate links — we may earn a commission if you purchase through them via our marketplace affiliate program. We rank cards and listings by the real signal — never by commission — and we label any sponsored or promoted placement. Affiliate links are the buy-path, never the sort order.
10. Third-party content (Watch & creators)
The Watch feature plays third-party videos from their creators, attributed to them. We don't own or endorse that content, and it's subject to the third party's terms. Links to other sites are provided for convenience.
11. Intellectual property
The Chase, its branding (including the mark and "Win the Hobby"), software, and content are ours or our licensors'. You get a limited, personal, revocable license to use the service — nothing more.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including that values or signals are accurate, complete, or fit for any purpose.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for trading or financial losses from decisions you make using The Chase. [Add liability cap and carve-outs — counsel.]
14. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or end accounts that violate these Terms or harm the service or other users. You can stop using The Chase anytime.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms; we'll post the new date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use The Chase means you accept the update.
16. Governing law & disputes
